• The extra small hole dial bore gages were introduced to the Mitutoyo bore gage line for customers to be able to measure smaller bores that dial bore gages typically are not able to measure. The radial displacement of the split-ball contact is converted to axial displacement of the measuring rod, which is shown on the dial indicator.
